12 Budget friendly mini dates created for parents and kids to enjoy together! Create priceless memories with your kids with the Year of Dates for Kids. http://www.lotanner.com/year-dates-kids @mrslotanner

How often do you get to spend one-on-one time with your kids? If your schedule has been anything like mine lately, you’re probably thinking, “not near as often as I’d like.” Which is a bummer (no judgment just, keeping it real) because  Children cherish the one-on-one time they have with their parents.

I remember when I was younger always being SO excited to go on “Special Days” with my dad and mom. Sometimes we’d all do something together and other days it would just be a mommy and me (or daddy and me) date. Whether it was a fishing trip with my dad, a shopping date with my mom, or even something as simple as getting ice cream or going for a drive, I LOVED spending one-on-one time with my parents. And as a mom of three rockin’ world-changers, I love having that privilege just as much. But with all the hustle and bustle and business of life, I’ve noticed that I’m not getting near as much time with my men as either of us desire. And truth be told, I’m not ok with that. Which is why I’m introducing my family to the Year of Dates for Kids.

Year of Dates for Kids

The Year of Dates for Kids is an easy way for moms and dads to plan fun and original activities to do with their kiddos. It gives us the opportunity to create cherished memories and meaningful conversations! It’s crafted with 12 mini dates (one date for each month of the year) specifically for kids and parents to do together, and they all pack neatly into a binder.

This adorable pack includes:

Binder Printables:
Binder Covers
Planning Schedule
Parent-Child Contract
Memory Pages (because who doesn’t want to keep memories like these).
12 Kid Date Ideas (I’ll share more about those in a minute).

When date night comes all you have to do is grab your kiddos, shift through the book, and let them choose which date they would like to go on. OR if you want to eliminate the hassle of picking and choosing, you can do that yourself by placing the dates in your binder into whatever date night order you prefer.

The Year of Dates for Kids is a great way to make sure you are getting to spend fun, QUALITY time with your kiddos each month. And because they are pre-planned, you don’t have to worry about making time or spending time trying to plan the perfect outing. All you have to do is choose a date and go! What I love most about the year of dates for kids is that these interactive date nights are budget friendly and some can even be done inside your home.

Here’s a list of the Date Nights you’ll get to enjoy:

  • Lego Building Date
  • Build A Fort Date
  • Volunteer Date Night
  • Restaurant Date Night
  • Game Night Date
  • Mad Scientist Date
  • Library Date
  • Sports Date
  • “If The Shoe Fits” Date
  • Artist Date
  • Selfie Scavenger Hunt
  • Stargazing Date

Take a peek for yourself!

The dates in this package are geared towards children under the age of 10 and can be adapted for any age – toddlers through grade school. The date night activities created with the interest of both boys and girls in mind. I myself am really looking forward to the game night date. Add some cupcakes to the mix and it’ll be a perfect night!

With the Year of Date for Kids you can give your kids more of what’s really important in life – YOUR PRESENCE instead of just presents.

  1. This looks like a great idea! With 5 kids, it is a real struggle. I try and take a child with me when I run errands. My hubby and I need to be better!
