Not too long ago my kids were learning about Moses in Sunday school. The life of Moses in the Bible was basically summed up in three main events; his birth, the story of Moses and the burning bush, and of course, the Passover story We can learn a lot from those stories, but there’s more to learn from the moments between them.

Sometimes we get this idea that to escape from the things that separate us from God we need to slowly wean ourselves off of them. What I admire so much about Rahab is that she took the “reckless” route. She refused to nurture those things anymore. She let them shrivel and fade and was completely content in that because she knew what was hers going forward; LIFE.
