I love that being a student of the Bible is something we’re all capable of doing.
In my early college years, I found myself in this awkward place of knowing who God is, but not feeling ready or sure enough to be all in. Can you relate? It was immersing myself into the Bible that brought me back to that place of peace and knowing. That place where I understood that God IS. He just is, and He’s infinite and loving, and just, and holy. The more I studied the Bible the more excited I was to become a woman shaped by His word.
Of course, we can’t be shaped by His Words (the Bible) if we don’t know His Word. We have to become women who seek Him, know His voice and are committed to living in His presence. That’s what the phrase “women in the Word” means to me. My guess is that since you’re here, you know someone who shares that same desire and are looking for a way to bless them. Below I’m sharing bible gifts gift ideas that will light up the heart of women in the word.
Bible Study Gifts for Deeper Study
Rose Books of Bible Charts, Maps, and Timeline – This is for the women who really LOVE to dig into the context, culture, and history of the Bible. There is so much to be discovered in this series! Your Bible-loving friends are bound to love this! It’s also a great gift idea for Bible study leaders.
The Bible Handbook – A book-by-book guide to the entire Bible.
Women of the Word by Jen Wilkins – Fitting title, right?! In this book, Jen helps women learn how to study the Bible and allow its principles to shape our lives.
Every Woman A Theologian by Phylicia Masonheimer – This book helped me worked through the different perspectives Christians have on key issues related to the understanding of God, church doctrine, and how to live in light of Scripture. Also on Amazon.
VIBRANT Bible Highlighting Journal – Our guide to studying the Bible in context, with intention, and with a splash of color.A simple approach to teaching Bible study methods in a way that stick!
Bible Study Accessories for Her
I talk with women all the time who answer the questions “what should I buy for Bible study?” with a big list of accessories we’d love to have and use but talk ourselves out. That alone makes these gift suggestions worth holding onto. Here are some ideas for gifts that you can give the ladies in your life and home who are excited about Bible study.
Spiral Bound Illustrating Bible – This Journaling Bible stands out for so many reasons. It’s designed specifically for Bible journaling, where in most other Bibles, the journaling is secondary. This NIV Illustrating Journal provides twice the journaling space, thicker pages, spiral bounding (allowing your Bible to lay flat no matter where you’re at in reading it), AND comes with a keepsake box. So you can worship creatively, study, and linger in God’s Word longer. It’s not exactly a small gift, but it is a good gift!
Write the Word Scripture Journal – My go-to tool for memorizing Bible verses! See how I use mine in the video below.

Double sided Bible Highlighters – great for highlighting, note taking, and Bible journaling!
Bible Verse Pencil Pouches – A pouch to carry your pens, highlighters, and Bible journaling clips, etc. Can also be used as a make-up pouch or a cash wallet.
Bible Gel Highlighters – If you’re looking for a solution to the bleed through issues caused by the majority of highlighters, this is your solution! I’ve been using these highlighters from Bible Safe for four years now and I can’t imagine my life without them. They’re also so much easier to clean than traditional highlighters, which; as a mom of toddlers; is music to my ears.
Pastel Bible Highlighters – I tried these pastel Bible Highlighters for the first time this year (ironically, they were a gift) and they’re darling! I love the color variation. And the fact that the ink is light and doesn’t bleed was refreshing. Most highlighters aren’t like that and the ones that are get pricey. These Pastel Highlighters from Diverse Bee are no bleed and affordable.
Washi Tape – This is for your creative Bible study friends! It a fun way to mark special pages, make bookmarks, decorate their Bible, or leave special notes on specific pages of the Bible.
Bible Games
Bible Scattegories! – I grew up playing this game and its always a blast. Its still a favorite at all our Alaska Family get-togethers! If you’re looking for a fun game to test your knowledge of the Bible and get you talking about what you know – this is it!

I’m super picky about the Bible studies I share and recommend (and even the ones I do for myself). It’s really important to me that the studies I share are biblically solid AND that they encourage us to live the life God created us for. The shops listed below are my go-tos for solid Bible study material. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I loved Lineage of Grace!!!
Such a good series! The only one I take issue with is the one about Bathsheba. They paint it to be like a romantic affair. Scripture doesnt say exclusively but there are verses that hint at it being less like a romance and more like coercion. 🤷🏾♀️ Still a good read just a bit more fictional.
